The story is here for all to read - of heroic if flawed pioneers, of faithful and hard pressed leaders as well as of the ordinary church members. This story should be read by every Queensland Baptist but is also warmly commended to all who are interested in the evangelical movement and its influence in Australia. . . . . eminently readable and balanced history.
